Conflict in Libya demoted to the bottom of BBC News: Peace inevitable

In the wake of the horrific 8.9 earthquake to rip though Japan, our hearts and prayers go out to all the families and friends affected.

However, I can’t help but notice that there is now effectively very little coverage of the conflict in Libya. I for one, actually still want to know what’s happening over there. I logged  on to the BBC News website before, only to find one small measly box with a link to a generic coverage and articles page.

I couldn’t help but notice that the link to the live coverage of the Japan tsunami had effectively hijacked the Libya coverage page:

I believe that due to the immense lack of attention that Libya is now getting, peace will probably just be restored as no-one is paying any attention, and has been demoted to as much attention as the police would give a suspicious man on a bike in London with too many flashing lights on his helmet.
